Snapshot: With scantily clad servers nicknamed ?Chicas,? this Monterrey-style sports bar and restaurant caters to a young, bar-hopping demographic and has so much hip-hop party attitude, it makes Hooters and Fox & Hound seem downright antiseptic, especially on Thursdays.
Who goes there: Young professionals, sports enthusiasts, guys and gals on the prowl, bikers, hard rockers, young guns and hip-hop nation. Early in the week, baby boomers and families dominate.
Behind the bar: A wide variety of draft and bottled beer, as well as cocktails and 100-ounce ?Balones.? Drink specials vary. Happy hour 2-7 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Munchies: Menu ranges from appetizers like ceviche, shrimp cocktails, poppers and nachos to hot wings, hamburgers, tacos, fajitas and seafood plates. Mondays and Wednesdays offer 50-cent hot wings; Tuesdays is $1 tacos al pastor.
Soundtrack: Dozens of giant flat-screen monitors set to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports, Fuel TV and the NBA is music enough to sports nuts' ears. But adult-rated hip-hop, rap, dubstep, salsa and club music rule when DJ Flex (Roy Jimenez) and MC Krazy Hec (Hector Castillo) are in the house with their subsonic speakers and light system.
The skinny: Good food, loud music, lots of seating, no shortage of parking and fun-loving hostesses whose opening line is: ?I'll be your chica for the night.? Check out the ?Lingerie Fiesta? tonight.
